RULES: MEMBERS MUST CARRY THEIR HORSE PASSPORTS 1. Points will be awarded in each class as: 1st 5pts, 2nd 4pts, 3rd 3pts, 4th 2pts and 5th 1pt (To have competed in a min.3 shows) Each Member will also be awarded one attendance point for each class they compete in. 2. Points will be cumulative in respect of THE SAME HORSE..PONY..RIDER 3. Points will be awarded only to paid up Members of A.V.R.C on or before the first points show 4. Rosettes will be given for the first five places provided entries warrant it. 5. GYMKHANAS – All competitors must wear hard hat to British kite mark standard, riding boots (not pumps) no crops, no spurs. 6. Handy Pony – One rider, one pony. 7. No horse or pony under 4 years old will be allowed to compete unless in an in-hand class. 8. The organisers do not accept liability for accidents to horses, ponies, owners, riders, grooms, spectators or property. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the promoters against any legal action. Members must ensure that they have their own personal insurance cover for themselves and their horses/ponies 9. Senior Members who own ponies 14.2h.h.(148cm) may ride them in Senior Showing and Jumping Classes, but will NOT be able to compete in any Junior class at any Points Show. 10. Any objections to be made to the Chairman in writing with a deposit of £25, to be refunded if the objection is upheld. 11. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and under control. 12. All ages taken from 13. Open Nights – All Members must wear correct footwear e.g. riding boots not pumps etc. 14. Anyone seen mistreating a Horse/Pony will be asked to leave the field and banned 15. Once entered NO REFUNDS will be given. 16. The Judges decision is final. 17. Stallion are allowed but must be suitably bitted and handled by persons 16years and over Hard Hats to British Standard MUST be worn 18. No member must ask any other person to show
their horse / pony just to gain point's. If
you want your point's , you must participate in the
"Whole" of the class. 19. All hats must be to British kite mark NOT European or your insurance, will be invalid |

HEALTH & SAFETY
Whilst every care is taken, the
committee take no responsibility or liability for any accident or injury caused
to horses, ponies or competitors/spectators or
any property whatsoever. We would ask all competitors/spectators to conduct
themselves in a way not to cause any incidents. By their very nature horses can
be easily startled, we would ask you to bear this in
mind.
